Never underestimate a man with a pointed stick…

As we peer through the windscreen at Mark and Marlin, the plot is fixing to proof…  We see Sidekick Jim (Sideshow Bob?) walking into the thicket armed with nothing more than his wooden poker.

Besides, Mark, I don’t think Marlin is sending Jim anywhere…  I think that Jim is a master of his own free will and destiny…  he chooses to go where Marlin goes and lives by simple rules…  Say little, wear khaki, carry a pointed stick.

  1. “Is that safe?” Funny words coming out of the mouth of the Man of Mis-Adventure. As if running under an elephant (when he didn’t have to) and waiting inside a tent for it be removed by said elephant so Mark can shoot it with a tranq dart is somehow a safe procedure!?

Perhaps “Is it safe?” is actually just some Mark Trail code-speak for “You guys should let ME handle it! After all, this comic strip is named after ME, not you two losers!”
